In the past, the couple has made the necessary arrangements so that Aubree could spend time with both parents, but after Adam begins to feel that Chelsea is keeping him from spending the amount of time with his daughter that he'd like to spend, he goes to court and files to legally change his visitation rights.
In a sneak peek at the new episode, obtained by E! News on March 11, Chelsea is seen taking a trip to her mailbox where she discovers what Adam had done. Immediately, she feels that it isn't actually Adam who wants to see Aubree, as he rarely comes when he has the chance. Instead, she believes it is his parents who insisted he file.
"Whenever he has the option to come here, he rarely does, to see her," Chelsea explained in the clip.
The situation is also irritating for Chelsea because she knows she can't trust Adam and his family to be honest with her about Aubree's whereabouts. For example, on last week's episode, Aubree wasn't allowed to be at Adam's to spend the night, so Adam and his parents claimed she'd stay at the parent's house. However, that evening, Adam's girlfriend, Taylor Halbur, was sharing photos of Aubree at Adam's around midnight, which proved she was not where Chelsea had been told. But when it came time to drop Aubree off, his parents drove her home, as if she'd been with them all along.
