After getting upset about a playdate, Aubree proceeded to throw a temper tantrum, whining and throwing her body around as if she were possessed (as four-year-olds are known to do). In response, Chelsea, who was clearly running out of patience, put her in her car seat, buckled her up, and drove off.
However, many fans didn't agree with her actions. Instead, they felt she should have been more firm with Aubree, possibly even spanking her.
According to an April 2 report by Wetpaint Entertainment, Chelsea took to Twitter after the episode aired to defend her parenting choices.
"No matter how I handled Aubree's temper tantrum..people would've still complained,” Chelsea explained to fans. “She is 4 and anyone with kids knows that happens. Plus...when the cameras are around I am hesitant to discipline as much knowing that when it airs, people will voice there [sic] opinions."
