MTV has not even confirmed that there will be a fifth season of “Teen Mom 2,” but already a potential air date for the new season is being announced. According to a Dec. 3 report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, fans can expect to see the series return to television next month.
It has been nearly a year since Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer-Calvert, Chelsea Houska, and Jenelle Evans have been on television and a lot has changed for the girls. It is unclear what all will be included in the new season, but some key events have happened for the girls this past year.
Leah Messer-Calvert gave birth to her third daughter, Adalynn Faith, and although fans briefly met the baby during a “Teen Mom 2” special earlier in 2013, the new season will show more of Adalynn and possibly show her interacting with her sister, Aliannah and Aleeah.
Kailyn Lowry has also had another baby. The “Teen Mom 2” star and mother to Isaac gave birth to another son last month. Kailyn kept a lot of her pregnancy quiet and only started to talk about it towards the end of the pregnancy. Even if she doesn’t talk about her pregnancy much on the show, fans will get to see her baby bump and also see Kailyn Lowry adjusting to life as a military wife.
More milestones have been met for Chelsea Houska, including graduating. The future cosmetologist is doing great and finishing school will likely be a big part of her segments. Of course, there has to be some drama and that will likely focus on her ex, Adam Lind. Lind recently became a father for a second time. His girlfriend, Taylor Halbur, gave birth to a daughter named Paislee Mae and they will likely be shown on “Teen Mom 2.”
Finally, there is Jenelle Evans. There is always some sort of drama for the troubled reality show star and the new season will show her estranged from her husband, Courtland Rogers, and meeting a new man named Nathan Griffith.
Although it is not confirmed by MTV, “Teen Mom 2” is expected to return around January 20.
