'Teen Mom 2' Season 5 recap: Jenelle gets an abortion

Last night was the season premier of "Teen Mom 2 season 5. On Jan. 21 Hollywood Life recaps that Janelle Evans was pregnant with her husband's, from a shotgun wedding, child and chose to have an abortion.

Janelle's decision to abort was based on the fact that Courtland was in jail for domestic violence (toward her) and the fact that she didn't have custody of Jace, her first child, and it wouldn't have been fair to him to have another baby with someone she had only been with for a few months.

Barbara took Jenelle and Jace to the clinic where she was going to get the abortion pill. While she claims that Jenelle was ungrateful for her taking her, she was being equally unappreciative and respectful of Jenelle's difficult decision, after initially supporting her.

Jenelle was fresh out of rehab and living with Barbara and Jace. It seemed as if she was being given a little more responsibility of Jace, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, that may not have been the best idea because Jace had seemingly acquired his mother's like of foul language and was dropping f-bombs just like she does.

Jenelle's fans didn't seem all that shocked that she would have an abortion given all that she had recently been through. Are you shocked that Jenelle got an abortion?
