The girls of Teen Mom 2 may be just wrapping their third season on MTV, but already, the network is announcing a premiere for their fourth and rumored to be final season and it's much sooner than anyone had anticipated.
Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer-Calvert, Kail Lowry, and Jenelle Evans will be back for season 4 on February 18, states a Hollywood Life report from February 4. That's right, the girls will be picking up right where season 3 leaves off with not so much as a week in between. Tonight is the season 3 90-minute finale which will be followed by a special unseen moments show. Then, the following week will be the Dr. Drew reunion show.
It's a bit of an odd move by MTV. Just last week, they had allegedly decided to give the series the boot because of the recent actions of Jenelle who in the last two months was married, got pregnant, miscarried, and started dating a man she had previously accused of beating her. According to the reports, MTV feels completely humiliated by Jenelle and doesn't want to be associated with her any longer. Could this bumped up premiere date be a hint that MTV is trying to get to the end of the series ASAP without having to abandon footage they've already shown?
As for what fans will be seeing during season 4, Hollywood Life claims that Leah's wedding to Jeremy Calvert will be shown and Kail's wedding to Javi Marroquin might as well. Chelsea is in beauty school and dealing with her usual Adam drama, and Jenelle is trying to figure out who she wants to be with -- Gary Head or Kieffer Delp.
