'Teen Mom 2' Season 3: 'Under Pressure' recap

Tonight’s second half of the third season of Teen Mom 2 kicked off with Chelsea not being smart. Apparently, her IUD came out while she was going to the bathroom. Adam came over afterward, and the two had unprotected sex. “He pulled out,” she told her friend when she stopped over. She asked her friend not to judge her, and her friend gave her quite the lecture. (It’s about time someone did).

Kailyn and Javi were officially in a relationship, but Kailyn and Jo had gotten into a physical fight when Kailyn had a run-in with Jo’s new girlfriend, Vee. She filed a temporary abuse order in order to protect herself and Isaac from Jo. Her friend Mark stopped over, and Kailyn filled him in on her recent drama. He could see her side, but he also told her she needed to respect Jo’s decisions as Isaac’s father.

Jenelle started dating a Marine named Gary, who was great with Jace, and started going to school to become a medical assistant. She moved into a place with her friend, Allison. After the move, Gary and Jenelle discussed how much better she was getting along with her mom, Barbara, now that the two didn’t live together. Jenelle mentioned she would be done with probation the next month and had learned not to be as impulsive. The next day, she met Barbara and Jace for lunch. When they finished lunch, they went to take a look at Jenelle’s new place, which Barbara approved of.

Leah had to go to the hospital because of bleeding and cramps and learned she had a miscarriage. Jeremy came home and tried to comfort her as best as he could, and the two laid in bed together.

Chelsea focused on the start of school while Adam spent time with his friends. Adam told his friends he and Chelsea weren’t getting back together, and Adam admitted they used the “pull-out method,” which landed one of his other friends with a child of his own. As usual, the guys laughed.

Kailyn got a new job at the mall and hadn’t been able to see Javi as much. Jo went out to eat with his dad and brother and told them what happened with Kailyn.

Leah continued to let her children wander about the house naked as she rested. She told her friend Kayla she realized she and Jeremy really weren’t ready for another child and wondered if she should have her IUD put back in. Once Jeremy got home from work, Leah talked to him about how quickly they were moving. She said she felt this was a test for them, and even though they were excited, they were still scared. They agreed not to move ahead with wedding plans right away.

Tori went to visit Jenelle while she cooked Hamburger Helper. She told Jenelle she heard Kieffer was out of prison. A few days later, Gary asked Jenelle to call him and told her Kieffer had texted him to ask him to tell Jenelle to text him back. They both wondered how Kieffer had gotten Gary’s number. Jenelle reassured Gary that she wanted to be with him and loved him, not Kieffer.

Chelsea told her friend, Erika, what happened with Adam, and she was disgusted. Chelsea admitted her brain doesn’t always make the best of choices, and she loves Aubree, but is not ready for another one. Later on, Chelsea explained that Aubree would be going to day care the next day when her friend Laura stopped over. Chelsea added that she was depressed because she would go from being in school to working full-time and would never have as much time with Aubree again.

Kailyn saw Javi for the first time in a while and explained what happened between her and Jo. Javi was not okay with the fact Jo had hit her. Kailyn told him he couldn’t come near her or Isaac and admitted that she didn’t think things would ever be okay between the two of them again.

Jo called Vee to tell her he had been served a PFA, or a Protection From Abuse order and that Kailyn was trying to have Isaac taken away from him. Vee was very upset and agreed to be behind Jo, who was determined not to lose his son.

Leah met with Corey to drop off the girls, and she told him she had a miscarriage when he asked how the pregnancy was going. He told her he was sorry and asked if there was anything he could do to help. He added he and his girlfriend broke up, and Leah became very frustrated at the back and forth. Leah said either they were going to do something, or she was going to move on. Corey reminded her that she was engaged and wondered what would happen if she missed Jeremy in six months. Corey didn’t think it was right for them to get back together, considering the circumstances and the fact that he likes Jeremy. Leah told him she just wanted him to be happy before collapsing into tears the moment she got into her car.
