'Teen Mom 2' Season 3: 'So Hard to Say Goodbye' recap

Tonight’s episode of Teen Mom 2 started out with Kailyn, Isaac, and Javi playing outside, enjoying the summer. The next day, Kailyn told her friend she felt it was time for Javi to move in – he stayed over there every night, anyway, so he may as well move in and pay rent. She hadn’t felt this way about anyone before.

Chelsea and Aubree went over to Chelsea’s mom’s house. She immediately plopped down and started whining about moving and wanting to move away. Her mom told her it made no sense because of the timing.

Allison and Kieffer accompanied Jenelle to get her breast implants. After a couple of hours, Jenelle hobbled out to the car and slumped into her seat. They helped her inside and to her bed, where she immediately asked for medicine and told them she didn’t feel good.

After Leah realized Corey wasn’t serious about getting back together, she asked Jeremy to come over. She apologized for everything she had done and told him she wanted her ring back and wanted him to come home. Jeremy said it was hard being away from her and the girls and not sleeping next to her every night. Conveniently, he had her ring in his pocket, so he gave it back, and that was that.

Kailyn and Javi had the talk about moving in – they both wanted him to, but neither had wanted to say anything. Javi asked what responsibilities he would be taking over, so Kailyn said financial responsibilities, since he already acts like a father figure to Isaac, and they get along well. As the child splashed in the pool with the dog, Kailyn told Javi she had never felt this way about someone so quickly before, and the two agreed he would move in later that week.

Leah filled her sister, Victoria, in on her most recent Corey and Jeremy drama. Now, suddenly, Jeremy is the one she is supposed to be with. (Not Corey, since he wasn’t ready). Victoria was supportive of whatever Leah wanted to do and said she likes Jeremy.

Chelsea was stressed out about Adam and moving and started to fall behind in school. She had her first haircut test and thought she messed up, but her instructor told her she did a nice job and gave her a 90.

Barbara’s boyfriend, Mike, watched Jace so Barbara could go over and take care of Jenelle. When Barbara got to Jenelle’s house, no one answered the door, so Barbara had to let herself in the patio door. The doorbell rang again, and roses from Gary were delivered, along with a card that read, “Stay Strong, Sweetheart!” Barbara went in Allison’s room to ask her what was going on and warn her to hide Jenelle’s pain medication from Kieffer. Barbara sat on Jenelle’s bed to talk to her, and the two whispered about the flowers from Gary. Barbara also told Jenelle Jace had asked about Gary, so she told him he was working.

While Jeremy reunited with the girls, Corey filled his dad in on what went on with Leah. His dad told him he hoped this was the last time they tried to get together, and Corey told him they were done.

Kailyn met her friend Taylor and immediately told her she was moving in with Javi. Taylor asked if she was going to tell Jo, and Kailyn said she was not going to. (Naturally, she can move in with her boyfriend, but Jo can’t even have his girlfriend near the child). Again, Kailyn repeated that even though she was moving fast, she had never felt this way with anyone before Javi.

Chelsea and her friend Nic met with her mom and Aubree to go look at a house. As usual, Chelsea decided she liked it and wanted to fill out an application. But, after she dropped Nic off, she called her dead to tell him she didn’t love the place. It didn’t take long before she was shouting at him about not wanting to live there anymore. He told her to stay there and finish school, where she had help with Aubree. Then, the waterworks started – she doesn’t like it there, she is stressed, she has school, and now she has to move. Whine, whine, whine.

It didn’t take long before Jenelle and Kieffer got into a fight over Gary, so she kicked him out. He met with a friend to discuss his plans to go back to Jersey, and Jenelle asked Barbara to take her home so that she could recover from her surgery there. She mentioned Gary had offered to help her as well, and Barbara added that she likes Gary, and he was good with Jace.

Javi moved his things into Kailyn’s place. Since Gary was coming over to take care of Jenelle for the weekend, Barbara dropped her back off at home. Gary showed up, and he and Jenelle talked. Jenelle wondered if they were going to get back together, and Gary told her they would see how the weekend went, but they couldn’t fight as much.

Leah and Jeremy picked the girls up from Corey together for the first time before heading over to Leah’s parents’ house. While her parents took the girls off to play, Leah and Jeremy cozied up on the couch to discuss buying a house and having a beach wedding in a few months.
