Tonight’s extra-long finale episode of Teen Mom 2 opened with a very surprised Leah telling Jeremy she was pregnant. They both agreed it happened very fast. Jeremy got home, and they discussed their situation. Leah worried Jeremy wasn’t ready, but he told her if he wasn’t ready, they wouldn’t be pregnant. (Great logic).
Chelsea anticipated the results of her GED tests coming back and went to check out day cares to prepare for being back in school, since someone would need to care for Aubree.
Kailyn had been spending a lot of time with Javi and even invited him to Isaac’s birthday party. Meanwhile, Jo and Vee discussed Jo and Kailyn and their separate birthday plans for Isaac. Jo wondered if Vee would ever be ready to meet Kailyn, and she seemed fine with the idea. Vee jumped in and said she thought Kailyn was still in love with Jo, but she had thought about writing Kailyn a letter. Jo agreed that it was a good way to clear the ice.
Jenelle didn’t want to deal with Andrew, but she wanted to do what was best for Jace and scheduled the paternity test. Secretly, Jenelle hoped Andrew wasn’t Jace’s father, but she agreed to video chat with him anyway. Andrew said hello to Jace before going off about how he couldn’t be Jace’s father because they looked nothing alike, and he was going to take his name off the birth certificate and stop paying child support as soon as it was official.
Leah’s mom came over, and Leah told her, “I got my IUD took out.” Her mom told her to make sure that was what she wanted to do, and Leah told her she was pregnant. Her mom called her “Fertile Myrtle” and couldn’t believe she had just learned about the IUD at the same time she learned of the pregnancy. Leah told her she was ready and hoped Jeremy was, too.
Jo and Kailyn talked about their plans for Isaac’s birthday, and Jo dropped off Vee’s letter. Kailyn read it out loud to Jo, told him she appreciated the letter, and said there was nothing in the letter that made her change her mind about Vee. The two got into an argument, and Jo stormed out.
Chelsea met with the advisor at school to go over her admissions test, and he told her she was officially accepted, pending her GED results. She met up with two of her friends to tell them the news, and Aubree called her from Adam’s phone, since she was with Adam’s parents for the weekend. She admitted she was sad and missed Adam, so her friends scolded her.
Barbara, Jenelle, and Jace went in to get the DNA test done, while Andrew went to the clinic where he was living. Jenelle told a friend she was anxious to find out the results and finally know who Jace’s dad was. The next day, Jenelle, her mom, and Jace went to pick the results up and learned Andrew was definitely Jace’s father. Barbara questioned the results and was shocked, but Jenelle didn’t have much to say.
Jo filled Vee in on what happened with Kailyn, and Vee said she wasn’t about to “kiss her ass to get Kailyn to meet her.” Meanwhile, Kailyn told her friend Toni her reasoning behind the outburst.
Leah continued to break the pregnancy news and told her friend Kayla, who was shocked and couldn’t believe it happened so soon. Then, Leah admitted she didn’t know if she should tell Corey everything, and Kayla said she might as well. While Jeremy was on the road, Leah asked Corey to come inside and talk to her when he dropped the girls off. “Me and Jeremy is engaged,” she told him. He congratulated her and wound up holding back tears. When Corey asked if the rumors he had been hearing were true, he told Leah she could answer with a “Y or N,” so she wrote it on a magna doodle, confirming her pregnancy. Corey couldn’t believe she was 19 with two kids, married, divorced, and getting married again and having another kid. Corey continued to wipe away tears before he kissed the girls bye and left.
Chelsea’s dad stopped over, so she filled him in on her GED test and school situations.
Kailyn’s birthday party for Isaac consisted of all of her friends, including Javi. She tried calling Jo to see if he was coming, but he didn’t answer. Kailyn ended up in tears after Isaac blew out his candles, over the fact that Isaac was growing up so fast and she and Jo still couldn’t get along. In the end, Jo showed up after all. After all her fussing, Kailyn still commented on how awkward everything was. Javi took toys upstairs as Kailyn talked to Toni about what she wanted to happen in the next year.
Jenelle and Barbara broke the news to Andrew via video chat, who was surprised to find out he was really Jace’s dad. He was overwhelmed and said it was going to change so many things, and he was going to be in Jace’s life. He complimented Barbara on raising Jace. He said he was happy and relieved about the news and was even shaking from excitement. Andrew promised to keep in touch and even said “love you guys” as they ended their conversation. Jenelle was still skeptical.
Leah met with Kayla and told her what happened with Corey. She said it left her feeling confused, because she will always love Corey and will never love anyone the same as she does him. Kayla asked if she felt she needed to stay with Jeremy now that she was pregnant, and Leah said she didn’t feel that way. Kayla added she wasn’t sure Leah should stay with Jeremy if she still had feelings for Corey.
Chelsea got her final GED test results and took them to her dad’s house to open them. She passed both the math and science tests and was very excited to start school again.
Leah felt confused over her feelings for Corey and called Jeremy to make sure he still wanted a baby. Corey told his dad about Leah’s news, and he felt it was irresponsible. He also commented that they would never be able to get back together now.
Chelsea and her family went out to dinner to celebrate getting her GED. Chelsea made a speech and commented that she thought Adam would have been there with her along the way and thanked her friends for pushing her.
Jenelle didn’t hear anything from Andrew after he learned the results of the paternity test. She went with Barbara and Jace to the park and admitted she wasn’t happy Andrew was really the father. Barbara told Jenelle she would make sure Andrew would pay child support before telling her she had a rough year, but she was proud of her.
Next, it was Jo’s turn to throw a birthday party for Isaac at his parents’ house. Kailyn did a lot of thinking during the party and decided she wanted to be on better terms with Jo. When he dropped Isaac off, they went upstairs to play with his toys and talk about the party. Kailyn admitted to Jo that she was worried Vee would become more important than her or that one day, Isaac would choose Jo over her because of his family. They both agreed they were doing a good job co-parenting, and Jo even said they should win parents of the year. (Let’s not get too carried away, Jo).
During their exchange of the girls, Corey talked to Leah about how awkward things were the night she told them she was pregnant and engaged. Corey asked if he should move on or not, said he comes home every day to nothing, and that he will have that moment in his head every day for the rest of his life. Leah really didn’t say much of anything before telling the girls she loved them and getting back into her car.
