Teen killed by friend in Twitter, Facebook love triangle

Authorities are alleging that a 21-year-old Missouri man murdered his teenage comrade after a squabble about a girl that escalated from a tweet war on popular social networking site Twitter.

Rankin County, Missouri police will charge Dorian Cyrus with killing his buddy  Jeffery Taylor Jenkins after their Twitter war of words escalated, according to The Grio.

In the middle of their fight over a female friend, an angry Cyrus apparently left his computer and made his way to the family home of 19-year-old Jenkins home and stabbed him to death.

According to reports, either a Twitter or Facebook post upset Cyrus.

Law enforcement currently holds Cyrus in county jail, charged with culpability in the fatal crime.
