The Salvation Army does excellent work in the community and their First Annual Golf Tournament “Hope for Kids” is bound to be a success. They offer “Hope for Kids” by providing a variety of services, including after-school programs, art, music, and educational instruction, character-building programs, day camp, overnight camping (programs), college ministries, and recreational activities. All proceeds from the golf tournament enables the Salvation Army to strengthen communities and help disadvantaged youth transform their lives…learn and grow.
The Salvation Army operates over 7,000 communities across the United States and is well known for the way they feed, clothe, comfort and care. From disaster relief, to anti-human trafficking efforts, to children’s programs, they are known throughout the world for their efforts to help the hurting. They are continuously “Doing the Most Good” in every inch of their ministry, sharing love and hope.
It seems that all around the country, the Salvation Army is hosting these fun events with the popularity growing each year. So, come out and join the FSU Women’s Golf Team, beginners and seasoned golfers, for a day of play and fellowship for a great cause. There will be a live auction, lunch, contests and hors d'oeuvres after play to wind down this wonderful day. Please join the Tallahassee community and the Salvation Army at Killearn Country Club, 100 Tyron Circle in Tallahassee. Registration begins at 11:00 am with lunch to follow; the start time is at 1:00 pm. If you have questions please contact David Roberts at (850) 893-4414 or email@example.com
