Teddy Pendergrass viewing held today (photos), funeral and burial information

Teddy Pendergrass' viewing was held today in Philadelphia. Pendergrass fans waiting in very long lines for the chance to pay their respects at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church.

A public funeral for Pendergrass will be held Saturday from 10a.m. to noon at  Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church. The church is located at 2800 West Cheltenham Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19150

The Pendergrass burial ceremony will be held at West Laurel Hill Cemetery. The cemetery is located at 225 Belmont Avenue Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004

The R&B star may be best known for his song "If you don't know me by know". Pendergrass died on January 13th from colon cancer. He was 59 years old.

Pendergrass had been paralyzed from the waist down, after he was involved in a car accident in 1982. Even after his tragic accident, he continued to record music.

Teddy Pendergrass Alliance

After Pendergrass was paralyzed he formed the Teddy Pendergrass Alliance. The alliance helps support people with spinal cord injuries (SCI).

Teddy Pendergrass was inducted into the SCI Hall of Fame. He was recognized for being a very influential SCI activist.
