Ted Williams' Cleveland Cavaliers job offer, house (YouTube.com video)

This video is surging in popularity because it contains the radio interview wherein Ted Williams, now known by several monikers on Google Trends -- including "man with the golden voice" or just "Ted Williams" or "Ted Williams homeless" or "Ted Williams voice" or "homeless man golden voice" or just "homeless man voice" -- got a full-time job offer and a home.

Tracy, a woman representing the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Quicken Loans Arena -- forever known as "The Q" to us Cleveland-area folk -- called in and made sure to try and up Dan Gilbert's public persona after the LeBron James debacle by saying that Ted represents everything the Cavs stand for in terms of hope and rebounds and the like.

It took her a while to get to the real offer, but when she did, oh boy!

A full-time job offer doing plenty of voice-over work, not merely for the Cavs but other venues as well, plus the kicker -- they will pay the mortgage on a home for Williams.

"LeBron James old house," quipped the radio folks, who humorously said that Ted would make a strange #23 coming out on that floor of The Q.

"You made a new sweat come under my arms," joked Ted, quick and witty and right back in the environment where he belongs.

He's a natural. God bless 'em.
