Ted Nugent gets paid $16,000 to NOT play a gig in Texas

A payday for not doing anything is always great, especially for the "Nuge." Seems that the city of Longview, Texas had an agreement to have Ted Nugent perform there and the city at the end decided that it just was "not the right feel for this kind of community event." This was all in the works and reached a verbal agreement between Nugent's management and the city, as they were to perform at the Maude Cobb Convention Center during the Fourth of July.

The initial agreement was for $32,000 for him to perform but since they decided to back away on the agreement, but both parties settled on paying him half of the performance fee which is $16,000. A nice payday for doing nothing at all. (The information above was from KLTV and Huffington Post.)
