It sounds like a pitch for a baseball player, but instead it is Canadian-born politician, Senator Ted Cruz, a Republican from Texas with a Latino name who was born in Canada. That is touching all the bases:
4. Home base USA
His mother is an American from Delaware.
After all of the fuss about Barack Obama by the birthers, it might be hard to resist coming after Ted Cruz who is absolutely admitting that he was born in Canada. The Constitution being what it is, the Court must make a determination about Cruz’s eligibility for the presidency.
If the court is consistent with the way it has been ruling of late, they might just toss it back to Congress to clarify the obsolete law. The court might say that the Constitution is unenforceable because Congress has failed to keep it current.
Unlike Michele Bachmann who may need a place to flee such as Switzerland, Ted doesn’t need or want dual citizenship. After all, he has healthcare from his service as Senator with Obamacare as a backup. He doesn’t need socialized medicine from Canada, does he?
What has the 42 year old Senator accomplished? How does he score as a presidential candidate in terms of his resume and qualifications? Is he the best, possessing superior credentials, as needed and wanted by Americans?

What you see here is a well educated lawyer who is a professional politician without any experience other than working for the government. He rocketed into the job and now has a lightweight resume that will not gain the sufficient credibility form more government experience.
America just learned a lesson from Barack Obama, bright people with a nice personality and no CEO experience are deficient leaders.
I won't’ bother to score Cruz because it is apparent the outcome will not be sufficient.
His best bet is the same as Marco Rubio, get a real job and show to America that you can accomplish something in the private sector. Hold on to the cabin up north.
"Cruz will renounce Canadian citizenship

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) announced Monday evening that he will renounce his Canadian citizenship, less than 24 hours after a newspaper pointed out that the Canadian-born senator likely maintains dual citizenship.
“Now the Dallas Morning News says that I may technically have dual citizenship,” Cruz said in a statement. “Assuming that is true, then sure, I will renounce any Canadian citizenship. Nothing against Canada, but I’m an American by birth and as a U.S. senator; I believe I should be only an American.”
