The Politico reports that on this morning's edition of MSNBC's program, Morning Joe, New York Representative Peter King denounced Ted Cruz as a "false leader" and expressed concern over what he characterized as "vile" language coming from Cruz supporters who are calling into King's office to express their support for defunding Obamacare. First of all, any Republicans who appear on Morning Joe basically admit that they are frauds. No self-respecting, principled conservative would mingle with the likes of Joe Scarborough and the other progressive-socialists on the program to attack other Republicans. Were Peter King or John McCain to exert one iota of energy fighting Democrats in the Congress as vehemently and aggressively as they pursue tea party conservatives, we would be living in a far different and far better country today.
Perhaps the most striking and the most disturbing part of King's remarks is that he believes Cruz is a false leader. Is Cruz a false leader for standing up and speaking his mind about the detrimental impact that Obamacare will have on individual Americans and on the country as a whole? Is he a false leader for embracing limited, constitutional government? Is he a false leader for refusing to lie down and let the socialists on the left run roughshod over the Constitution? Or, could it be that Peter King and his fellow establishment Republicans fear that Cruz' message may be resonating with people and exposing the fraud that is the modern-day Republican Party. True conservatives are drawn to Cruz because he has the courage and the willingness to fight in the most hopeless of circumstances, not because think a twenty-one hour speech on the floor of the Senate will stop Obamacare. They recognize that standing up and advocating for liberty is in itself a proper and noble endeavor, regardless of its immediate impact on any one particular bill.
Those who hold dear the principles of the Declaration of Independence and constitutional limits on government should not become discouraged over the recent assault on conservatives by members of the Republican Party. That establishment Republicans are exerting their energy on lashing out at people who merely want to hold the government accountable, rather than taking on the progressive-socialists who seek to destroy what little liberty remains, is a sign that our message is reverberating throughout the land. Clearly, the John McCains and the Peter Kings of the Congress are more fearful of Ted Cruz than Barack Hussein Obama. This reality has exposed them as frauds to millions of Americans who otherwise may have continued to believe that the Republican leadership had their best interests in mind. Senator Ted Cruz is sending shockwaves through the establishment Republican Party and awakening people from a dangerous slumber during which they were being led to the slaughter.
