With so much technology outdated after only a few years of use, and replacement costs cheaper than repairs, how to dispose of used and outdated computers and peripherals is a growing problem across American. Thankfully for Delaware residents there are numerous ways to dispose of technology trash.
How will you celebrate Earth Day?
Why not take a minute to gather up all your unused computer equipment and dispose of it in a safe and friendly manner!
In celebration of Earth Day, SSD Technology Partners is teaming up with Goodwill Industries of Delaware to provide businesses an environmentally safe option to getting rid of unwanted electronics.
This Thursday, April 21, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, electronic equipment will be accepted for donation at the Shipyard Shops, near Frawley Stadium, in Downtown Wilmington.
All unwanted electronic equipment will be accepted for donation. No donated equipment will be disposed of in any landfill, it will be either put back into use or properly and safely recycled. Data wiping services will be performed by request. Unwanted cell phones will be donated to the Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Any questions regarding this event can be directed to Bobbie Brooks at 302-472-2204.
Go green Delaware, disposed of your technology trash safely!
