“Run-n-Read” may just be the thing that people have been waiting for. Everyone thought it was crazy when you could listen to an audio book and actually get the content of the book without ever sitting down or opening the book. Then, the electronic book removed the need for the actual book. And now, some New York developers have decided to take things even further. According to a new Mashable report published on Sept. 8, “Run-n-Read” is a new feature that allows people to run while reading through electronic books.
The new product allows you to read your e-book while running. Weartrons, the name of the developers of “Run-n-Read,” has created a product that allows you to read text on your tablet while running. Sound impossible? “Consisting of a tiny clip-on device that can be attached to a headband or the collar of your shirt, the system works with an e-reader app on your tablet to track the movements of your head and shoulders. Keeping the text bouncing in sync with your eyes, the system essentially makes reading while running in a stationary position as easy as reading while standing motionless,” the report reads.
It may sound a little odd that you are running while reading. People who can read while running may enjoy this new product. However, one has to wonder if you can read and run without getting too dizzy. What do you think of his new product?
