It's been a while, Roc City music fans, but boy do I have a treat for you! Well known conscious hip hop artist, Tech N9ne will be performing at Water Street Music Hall, April 29th as a stop on his Independent Grind Tour! This is a show for the 16 and older crowd, the tickets prices start at $30, the show starts at 7pm, and Roc City native/ Funk Volume's own Jarren Benton will also be hitting the stage, so get there early!

The Tea on Tech...

Most well known for his thought provoking, quickly spit lyrics, Tech N9ne is the epitome of a successful Indie artist! With song credits to include everyone from Eminen to Kendrick Lamar, he has helped to redefine what independent artists are capable of in this day and age. Most recently, he has received a great deal of publicity due to his higly controversial, political commentary...but this is to be expected from such a ground breaking artist.

"Fragile" the Video

While Tech N9ne has many songs and videos that are truly classics, I decided to include a new track that I can't seem to get out of my head. "Fragile" featuring Kendrick Lamar, ¡MAYDAY!, and Kendall Morgan is such an awesome track, I couldn't not post it (excuse the doube negative). A simple video that is filmed mostly with the aformentioned artists simply singing along in an abandoned building, there are also shots of struggling students who can also relate to the message of this track. Check it out and let me know if your feeling "Fragile" or if you'd just like to break this CD altogether...
