Final Fantasy XII box art.
Before going out of business, Grin was secretly working with Square Enix on an unannounced Final Fantasy project codenamed Fortress. A video showing off the tech demo footage from the game has apparently made its way onto Youtube.
According to the video description, Fortress is a sequel to Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. The PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 project is now being developed by another western studio (the description mentions Eidos Montreal as a possible developer). You can view the tech demo footage of Fortress below:

Looks horrible. No wonder it was canceled.
Hey, jackass. Do you KNOW what a tech demo is? Idiot.
Go back to bed, it's too late for you to be up. Don't you have preschool in 4 hours?
I have no interest what so ever in a non Japanese Final Fantasy. This video proves why, it looks generic and boring just like Elder Scrolls, and Warcraft, and Fallout. Terrible MMO like combat with generic bland graphics, with series elements just thrown in (wonder if that Chocobo would have had DLC armor packs?). This is not a Final Fantasy, heck if you remove the Chocobo it looks just like Elder Scrolls. Western developers can not make a good Final Fantasy, hopefully S-E realizes this before they soil the brand.
Yes he is stupid, this actually look kinda good.
testing...
NO. This gam is on such a scale of WIN , they should definitely release this on the PS3.
Anyone who thinks differently is a turd.
The End.
Well the video has been removed by Square Enix. But you can still find it on various file hosts (see the YouTube user's profile page)
