For the past week several Broncos who are in the area have been attending an organized workout led by safety Brian Dawkins at the South Suburban Sports Bubble, rented out at Dawkins’ expense.
About 15 Broncos have been regulars at the workout, including incumbent starting quarterback Kyle Orton, but perhaps the Broncos’ biggest name had been absent until today.
Quarterback Tim Tebow, who started the final three games of the 2010 season, was out of town making public appearances last week but was at the sports bubble today throwing to receivers Britt Davis and Dan Gronkowski and taking snaps from center J.D. Walton.
"This part is important to show that we're all together," Tebow told the Denver Post. "I know a lot of us have been throwing and catching and doing what we need to do in other places, but this is big just to show that we're together. You can come together a few times to show, 'Hey, we've got each other's backs.' "
Orton had been present Tuesday and Wednesday of this week and last week, but was not in attendance today.
One of Tebow’s appearances last week was a Jockey staycool fashion show. Tebow is currently the star of a Jockey staycool commercial.
