Captain America goes dark in The Winter Soldier, with Chris Evans reprising his role as Marvel's "First Avenger", the final piece in last summer's assembling "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" known as The Avengers.
The Winter Soldier finds Cap somewhat trading in his landmark red, white, and blue suit for another in the service of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and S.H.I.E.L.D, where the super-soldier is now partnered with fellow spy and Avenger Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).
However, his old-fashioned idealism will clash with Fury's pragmatism -- and the real world -- when Cap suits up with the Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to take on a deadly Russian assassin with the codename "Winter Soldier": Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Cap's presumed dead best friend from their World War II days fighting HYDRA and the Red Skull.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier also stars Revenge vixen Emily Van Camp as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Agent 13 and Sundance founder Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce, Fury's boss.
The movie comes out April 4, 2014, so check out the teaser trailer at itunes.com/trailers.
