Teaser trailer for coming-of-age comedy 'The Kings of Summer'

CBS Films has plenty of reason to be excited about The Kings of Summer (formerly Toy's House), which may be why they're planning a huge marketing push for the coming-of-age dramedy. The directorial debut by Justin Vogt-Roberts earned some of the highest praise after its Sundance premiere, with many praising its originality and young cast of future stars. A new teaser trailer has been released just as its release date has been bumped up a couple of weeks to May 31st.

Starring Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso, and Moises Arias (Noobz), the story follows three unhappy best friends who decide to take control of their destiny by moving into the woods, building a house and living off the land. While the three leads are mostly unknowns (Arias will be in Ender's Game later this year), they get plenty of support from Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman, and Alison Brie.

The new footage shows off the film's offbeat nature, basically a drum session on a tree trunk while Arias hilariously gets crunk. Expect to hear a lot more about The Kings of Summer over the next few weeks.
