A few weeks ago Kia disclosed that it will be bringing a sports car concept to the North American International Auto Show. Today they have released more information along with a new front-end teaser photo.

Kia’s is calling this concept the GT4 Stinger. The GT4 will be a 315 horsepower rear-wheel-drive sports car with serious performance attributes. A 2.0-liter turbocharged engine lay behind Kia’s signature “Tiger-nose grille”.

They have gone for aggressive styling with the front-end; starting with the wide low placement of the grille. On each side of the grille comes a pair of large vertical LED headlamps. Below those headlamps is a carbon fiber front splitter that will supply downforce. The GT4’s hood sports muscular arches along with a pair of cooling vents.

This concept is going for performance and style. It will be rolling on 20 inch wheels. Front-brake cooling vents will release the heat when the brakes slow these massive wills down.

Stay tuned in for more information about the GT4 Stinger and other cars that will debut at NAIAS 2014. The press days for the 2014 NAIAS are on January 14-15. The charity preview starts on Jan. 17, and it’s open to the public Jan. 18 thru 28. For more information about the show, times, and tickets click HERE.
