Teas that ease

Triple Leaf Tea's "Relaxing" Tea
Triple Leaf Tea's "Relaxing" Tea

In the stressful days of economic depression, 2012 predictions, and general anxiety about life that comes with being human, it’s nice to be able to find something that gives you solace in a pinch. Triple Leaf Tea’s brand of “Relaxing Tea” is a great solution. Combining useful herbs such as skullcap, chamomile, catnip, and valerian root this tea will definitely take the edge off of your day. Valerian root is the strongest of the herbs in the tea and its relaxing properties are known to be some of the best. The name comes from the Greek “to be in health” so that sounds like a good investment, doesn’t it? Why not combine the tea with a copy of Plato’s “Republic” or Aristotle’s “Nichomachean Ethics” for some late night brain stimulation?

As always it’s important to look up the effects of each herb that is in the tea you will consume before consuming it. Just because they aren’t prescription medications doesn’t mean that they won’t have effects similar to them. It’s recommended that you experiment with teas (once you know that you aren’t allergic to any of the ingredients) to see how they affect you because everyone will feel different from each tea. The “Relaxing Tea” from Triple Leaf Tea is a great choice for taking that edge off and you will feel the soothing properties from the second you take a sip. The taste is rather bland but the properties of the tea luckily far outweigh its taste.

So take some time and try some Relaxing Tea throughout your day and see if you can feel a difference in the stress levels that people far too often accept as a regular part of their lives. You can find this tea at Mrs. Green’s Natural Market, located at 1916 Post Road, in Fairfield CT, or at most Stop and Shop’s closer to your area.
