Team WICAC serves up an ace in support of the West Island Palliative Care Reside

The West Island Crusade against Cancer (www.wicac.ca) served up another ace in its continued support of the West Island Palliative Care Residence. (www.wipcr.ca).

Armed with its traditional set of events such as squash, darts, softball, run and the gala; Team WICAC was able to add a couple of trivia nights to its arsenal.

This continuity paid dividends as a donation of $ 15 750.00 was made January 30, 2013.

Our gesture will allow in supplying much needed relief to the Center's annual food budget, where over 17 000 meals are served annually.

I would like to thank, on behalf of the executive and organizing committees, all of you for allowing us this platform in reaching such necessary community projects.

We look forward to our series of events.

Let's make 2013 a banner year.
