If the public war of the Sanders, has not been enough, threats of physical harm to members of Pilar Sanders' entourage have been piling up after the jury handed over their decision in the Sanders custody happenings this week in a Collin County Courtroom.
After nearly a week and a half of the dirty politics claim, the child custody hearing is over between former Dallas Cowboy and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders and his fitness model wife Pilar. On March 12, 2013, a 12-member jury voted 11-1 to allow Deion sole responsibility and conservatorship of the couple’s 13 and 11-year old sons. Pilar and Deion will both share joint custody and conservatorship of their 9-year old daughter, although Deion has the ability to decide where she will live.
The trial had included allegations Deion Sanders kept guns accessible to children. His attorneys suggested Pilar worked for a phone sex line. The DialAStar.com website, which hosts magnitudes of celebrities, including Actors, Pro Athletes, and rappers/singers, has a bridged a gap between the fan to the celebrity. Fans can reach out to their favorite star, and have a chance to visit via web calls.
Both sides claimed the other was using steroids. Although the shocking photographic evidence that Pilar's lawyer had in hand, had been dismissed by the judge, along with a multitude of other key pieces of evidence and documents to prove Mrs. Sanders accusations. The docs admitted into the case on behalf of Pilar's attorney were not allowed to be seen by the jury, for an unexplained reason.
Pilar Sanders’ attorney said they would appeal, calling it just “halftime” in the case. Issues with a prenuptial agreement, visitation, and child support are still pending.
With all of the surrounding public awareness and media coverage into the once private lives of the Sanders family, one would naturally assume that the ‘lookie loos & loons’ would come out of the woodwork. Now threats of physical violence have surfaced. Threats are currently left on twitter accounts, car doors to leaving voicemail messages on the teams unpublished numbers, to the team members of Pilar Sanders. Some who are not taking the threats lightly.
“I will not be threatened by him [Deion] and his goons in any manner, I will continue to support Pilar in every step she takes during these activities” shared C. Molik this afternoon, who took the voicemail threats so seriously, she immediately contacted local police and filed a report yesterday. What she did not expect was to be told by the McKinney, TX police officer that she was the only one and reports are piling up in regards to the same issues.
Team Pilar, as of today has beefed up security, hiring additional bodyguards and an observation coordinator. All members of the team have been advised to continue to record every call, text, and tweet that would pertain to the ongoing legal drama Pilar still faces.
