On Friday, June 15th, influencer marketing and public relations agency, Team Epiphany, and Pepsi kicked-off their inaugural Summer Fridays series at New York City hotspot, W.i.P. The “Day Rave” themed event brought together over 400 guests, including bloggers, editors, influencers and celebrities like supermodel Tyson Beckford who danced to music by DJ Wonder.
During the event Pepsi debuted the Limited Edition King of Pop Cans, which celebrates the 25th Anniversary of late Michael Jackson’s multi-platinum BAD album and equally successful tour. The cans feature a bionic silhouette imagery of the King of Pop and will roll out in 20 additional markets in Asia, South American and Europe throughout the year.
Party goers were encouraged to tweet the hashtag #SummerFridays as they sipped on signature Hennessy cocktails, enjoyed glow sticks and candy, and partied the afternoon away with music by DJ Wonder who played music from Rihanna’s popular song, “Cake,” featuring Chris Brown to Drake’s “The Motto.”
Now that WIP is closed I’m sure the next venue will be better and the next “Summer Fridays” will be even more amazing.
