The (U.S. Army) WCAP (World Class Athletes Program) headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, continues to dominate Colorado amateur boxing under the guidance of Head Coach Charles Leverette and leads TEAM COLORADO/NEW MEXICO into the 2014 National Golden Gloves tournament.

Here’s wishing TEAM COLORADO/NEW MEXICO the best of luck as they prepare for National Golden Gloves competition scheduled one month from now.

Registration for the Colorado Golden Gloves Golf Tournament Fundraiser, held Father's Day Weekend, Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Willis Case Golf Course (I-70 & Sheridan) is now open with reservations confirmed by calling 303-594-0123.

Great prizes, great food and rekindling of old friendships make this tournament ‘something special’ with prizes awarded in men’s and women’s categories for longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin (par3) and many other games adding to the fun.

Registration fee of $95 per person ($380 per team) includes a ‘goodie bag’, breakfast burritos and coffee followed by (at tournaments end) a delicious lunch and 18 holes of golf on one of Denver’s premier public golf courses make this a ‘no-brainer’ charity event.

Memorabilia items for bid, benefitting the Colorado Golden Gloves, are part of the festivities.
