Twenty years is a long time. But for Drama Teacher Lori Sessions, those twenty years have been mostly enjoyable.

For the past twenty years, Sessions has been the drama teacher at Taravella High School in Coral Springs. She will be honored by her students and alumni on March 2 at Taravella. Students will present short plays showing her work and how she as helped students over the years. The plays will be followed by a banquet.

"I have enjoyed being the head of the drama department. My drama teacher encouraged me to become a teacher of drama and I did so. I love working students. We have a history of creating great show," said Sessions.

Over the years, the Taravella Drama Department has produced many award winning shows. Patrick Saxer, the president of the Taravella Drama Club has performed in many school plays and believes that drama can lead to positive changes in the lives of students.

"I hope to have a professional career in acting," said Saxer.
