Teach your child to forgive. Forgiveness is a choice that is made to let go of hurt caused by another person. When you teacher your child to forgive, they learn how to relax, manage their blood pressure and bounce back.

Your child can learn to forgive at the early ages of preschool. While they are at the sandbox they can learn to forgive the child that stole the shovel from their hands. However, your child will need an apology first in order to forgive. So, what does your child do if they do not receive an apology? Well you can teach your child to say, "I forgive you." right when an incident happens.

When you teach your child to say , " I forgive you." You are giving your child the opportunity to quickly let go of the problem and move on. The problem will not grow or get anymore attention than needed. Your child learns that dwelling on a problem should not take too much of their energy. They learn that the problem should not be a priority in their life.

Forgiveness will teach the child to learn to relax quickly. They learn to control their blood pressure. As a result with their forgiveness, they learn to bounce quickly from a setback. Teaching forgiveness at an early age will train a child to relax, manage their blood pressure and bounce back quickly.
