Tuesday, the Tea Party movement will arrive in Provo and Salt Lake City, Utah. The Tea Party movement can be found at the old Provo courthouse at 10:00 am Tuesday, and 2:00 pm at the state capital in Salt Lake City. The Tea Party movement protests higher taxes and other conservative concerns.
The Tea Party movement will to 40 other cities around the country before stopping at the nations capital in Washington DC on April 15, 2010.
The Tea Party moved to Arizona on Sunday, and will be in Utah Monday. This is the first time the Tea Party made a stop in the state of Utah. The Tea Party was in St. George on Monday, and will be in Provo and Salt Lake City on Tuesday.
Sarah Palin spoke at the first of the season Tea Party rally near Las Vegas on Saturday and encouraged people to “take back our country.” In an effort to protest against Harry Reid getting re-elected to his Senate seat, Sarah Palin spoke to a crowd of thousands. Reid was a supporter of the recently approved Health Care law.
"There's no better place to kick off the Tea Party Express than Harry Reid's hometown," Palin said at the Tea Party rally Saturday. To see part of Sarah Palin's speech Saturday, see the links on the left.
