Tea Party members are average Americans, not Demons

The Democrats and their liberal media allies are making a terrible mistake in their efforts to demonize the Tea Party movement.

Gallup reports that Tea Partiers may skew right politically; but demographically, they are representative of the public at large:

Some of the interesting findings of the new USA Today/Gallup poll:

  • Tea Party supporters are decidedly Republican and conservative in their leanings.
  • Compared with average Americans, Tea Party supporters are slightly more likely to be male and less likely to be lower-income.
  • Tea Partiers are quite representative of the public at large in their age, educational background, employment status, and race.
  • Tea Party supporters do not like Obamacare -- 87% of Tea Party supporters -- versus 50% of all Americans -- say they consider passage of health care reform a bad thing.
  • Nearly two-thirds of Tea Party supporters consider themselves "pro-life" on the abortion issue, compared with 46% of all national adults.

The poll was conducted March 26-28, 2010 and has margin of sampling error of ±4 percent.

The FACT that we ARE normal people is what scares the hell out of the left.
they also do not like the idea there is no head to this monster to go after. Without a head to attack, they go after all its tentacles, the people of the movement.
All the leftists who spew vile obnoxious comments against the TP need to realize, their family , friends and co workers may just be members.
