Glenn Beck wrote this about what he calls the 9/12 project: On 9/12 (2001) no one in the government had to tell us what to do. We just did it. We went and we found a place to give blood. We went and we gave money. We gathered together. We gathered our family around. We prayed. We were the people that our grandparents were and nobody had to tell us. But then again the parties got involved and George Bush told us to do our patriotic duty and go shopping. That's offensive. That's not our patriotic duty. That's part of the reason we're here now today because our patriotic duty was to go shopping. That's not it. And I remember saying on the air, "Please, Mr. President, give us something to do. Let us be involved in the solution." It's not just, oh, we're going to go and bomb them. We've got to fundamentally change. We've got to be involved. Give us something to do.
Glenn Beck has urged people to have this same attitude today on 9/12, when the day after the attacks we were all united as a country. The tea party march in Washington DC today is just a part of the 9/12 project, according to Associated Content.
The 9/12 Taxpayer March hopes that 1,000 individual groups will come together in Washington, today, and will gather at the Capitol Building at 1 pm EST, and Glen Beck expects to have over a million people attend.
While the tea party protests have the "ever increasing tax burden" as their marching goal, Glenn Beck’s goal seems to be to use the 9/12 project and taxpayer march to get America back on the Republican bandwagon, according to Associated Content.

Reform the goverment not healthcare. How can anyone expect washington to fix healthcare when big pharma, insurance companies like aarp, and happy littigators create all the healthcare cost multipliers and congress and obama are in bed with them? This healthcare bill is another ruse to raid what little credit is left in the us treasury. When was the last time any politician said anything that resmbled an absolute truth? Wow, this article was an observation about a march and movement that most of the media aren't even covering. Anyone that thinks covering millions more people for health care and that is going to be paid for with savings in current spening and not tax raises is frankly not credible.

You could call the 912 protesters conservatives. You could even call them Republicans, but they are not the Republicans with which you are familiar. They all stand and protest for the Republic.
They are comprised of Democrats, who are also not the Democrats with which you are familiar, Libertarians, Constitutionalists, and many other less know groups. They all agree that the radical beast, whatever it is calling its self these days, that has been controlling the country for the last several decades, has got to go. Its fangs have been buried too deep for far too long and it has drawn much more blood than its host can share. It has to be killed off while there is still a Republic to stand for.
This is all about the underlying, hideous factor of the racism that is so deeply ingrained in the American character. The attempt to portray this president (Of all people!) as a socialistic, left wing extremist doesn't even pass the giggle test for people who have bothered to pay attention to their times and their history. Let's face it - Franklin D. Roosevelt, he ain't! They can't obstruct his agenda with a manufactured scandal regarding his personal life, as they did with Bill Clinton. eleven years ago. Their only hope is for enough of the American people to become really frightened by the Big, Bad Negro Commie.
