Saint Augustine Tea Party holds its open meeting
ACT! For America’s Randy McDaniels, featured speaker

Randy McDaniels was the featured speaker at the St. Augustine Tea Party’s open meeting, Tuesday, January 28, 2014. The meeting was held at the Village Inn, which is located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine Florida. “This was the first speaker meeting held at the Village Inn since their newly remodeled facility was completed. The rear dining room, which had been separated into two seating areas by half walls, has now become one large area. It, not only, makes a much better meeting room but the whole area is enlarged,” a Tea Party person said. The Tea Party holds open speaker meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.

McDaniels has Marine counter terrorism experience

Randy McDaniels is a Marine veteran who served as an Operations Specialist and later, on the 11th Counter Intelligence Team, which conducted counter terrorism, counter espionage and counter-subversion operations. Mr. McDaniels is the President of ACT! For America’s Jacksonville Chapter and is a National mentor. ACT! has over 800 Chapters nationwide and is responsible for several pieces of legislation to protect America from Radical Islam. ACT! is also working for the passage of American Laws for American Courts (ALAC), which prevent Islamic Sharia law from being used in American courts where they violate State and U.S. constitutions.

Mr. McDaniels’ presentation centered on the need for people to know that our governmental units have been infiltrated by Islamic extremists, at all levels. This infiltration has been going on for some time, having begun in former administrations. Islamists have infiltrated every facet of our culture and our government, with the idea of overturning it and creating a worldwide Islamic government. He pointed out that there is a ‘non-holy’ alliance formed between the Jihadists and the Communist’s new world order movement. The two groups have different long term objectives. But, both need to destroy America to accomplish their agendas. Our politicians seem to be blind to their plans. On one side, we have George Soros and on the other side, we have the Saudis funding these activities. The Obama administration completes the coalition. None of this is going to have a good outcome. A key point of his presentation is that Islam is not a religion. It’s a government and it’s out to topple our way of life and Liberty.

Member’s reaction somber

Those in attendance were riveted, for about an hour, to the information forthcoming. A very active question-and-answer session followed. After adjournment the conversation continued. Some members were heard saying, “We’ve lost. How will we defend ourselves?” Others were heard saying, “When you get to this point maybe it’s the second amendment that will save us.” Still others commented, “Obama-care will sink the progressive movement. But the GOP won’t fight. Well, maybe it’s time for a new party.” It was a very somber response, to say the least. “One thing is sure, the Town Criers will be back on the street this weekend, sounding the alarm,” a Tea Party person said in a loud voice. “We have to save our Country. It is not enough to recognize evil. We have to do something about it!”
