TEA Party conservatives must be careful not to sabotage themselves

Articles about the TEA Party are always negative, whether they are from the Left who want to destroy conservatism or from the Right over candidates who aren’t conservative enough. As superbly illustrated in the movie, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” evil always seeks to infiltrate and destroy from within any institution that successfully stops their efforts to destroy those who do good in the world. They know they cannot win a debate between liberalism and conservatism because, once people see both in the light compared side by side, they realize that liberalism is about selfishness while conservatism is about doing what is best for all.

The TEA Party is just as subject to infiltration and corruption as any institution. Leftist will try to infiltrate and gain their confidence, doing so by vilifying opponents who are actual conservatives. As Obama proved in 2008 and 2012, at election time everyone is conservative who speaks of eliminating the deficit, growing the economy, and keeping America secure. Once in office, their true colors come to light and it is only the dullest of voters who do not realize what they have done until it is too late.

One of the best conservatives under assault is Rep. Jeff Sessions (R-Tex.) who has been labelled a RINO but some TEA Party people. Are you kidding me? Sessions is on the liberal’s list as one of the most hated and stoutest conservatives in Congress. Where Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has acted contrary to conservatism saying he would work against the TEA Party, and Senators like John McCain (R-N.M.) says they want to cross the aisle and work with Democrats who offer nothing any conservative wants, Sessions

Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Tex.) has been called a RINO, but is acknowledged as an outstanding conservative. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ken.) ranks as one of the most conservative senators, yet he has spoken out against the TEA Party saying he does not want new conservative candidates to displace established conservative representatives. The fact is that even strong conservatives say the wrong things and suffer from foot-in-mouth disease.

The other undeniable truth is that there are liberals who will say anything to displace a conservative representative. Character assassination is S.O.P. for the Left, as is deceiving voters of their true leanings. TEA Party patriots would be wise to not take anyone at face value and investigate all potential candidates and their known record. Otherwise, they leave themselves open to being duped as badly as are those who believe in conservatism yet vote Democrat.
