Afternoon tea is a timeless experience. A quiet moment to enjoy a delicate sip with a dainty morsel can be a luxurious break to a hectic day. The Langham, Chicago wants parents and children to revisit afternoon tea this August with Tea for Tots.
During the month of August, The Langham, Chicago will host Tea for Tots' which will benefit Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The Langham Afternoon Tea is a traditional afternoon tea service that first debuted at The Langham, London in 1865. Served on Wedgewood, this afternoon ritual is held in Pavilion inside The Langham Chicago.
Tea for Tots allows guests to enjoy proprietary Langham teas and an array of sweet and savory bites created by Executive Pastry Chef Scott Green. Additionally, each participating child will leave with a small gift, designed as memorabilia for the special teatime experience.

Prior to his death on January 9, 1993, Bear and his mother discussed and planned the formation of Bear Necessities. The foundation seeks to assist the needs of both patient, family members, and the needs of the hospital facilities as well.
