Tea Baggers plan to protest federal spending across Connecticut on Income Tax Day


Connecticut Tea Party activists will be holding rallies across the state Thursday, in conjunction with the federal income tax deadline.
The Tea Party will be protesting government spending on Thursday in Hartford, Greenwich, Norwich, New Milford and New Haven. The rally taking place on the steps of the capitol from 2 to 4 p.m. is expected to create the largest congregation across the state, and activists hope it will be larger than the 5,000 Tea Baggers who converged on the capitol last year.

Other rallies planned for Thursday will be at the following locations;

The New Milford Green, 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Long Wharf Drive in New Haven, 12 to 2 p.m.

Brown Memorial Park in Norwich, 3 to 6 p.m.

Greenwich Town Hall, 5 to 7:30 p.m.
