Davidson's Earl Grey Tea
Scented teas are black, green, oolong or white teas blended with natural essential oils of fruit or flowers. They may contain actual flower blossoms as well as pieces of dried fruit. There are many varieties of scented teas, but probably the two best known are Earl Grey and Jasmine with Rose Pouchong a close third.
Earl Grey Tea
This scented tea was originally created for the second Earl of Grey in the 1830s by Twinings of London, and is a blend of black China tea scented with citrus-flavored oil from the rind of the bergamot orange. Earl Grey is both bracing and refreshing and can be enjoyed with or without milk, or with a slice of lemon. Because of its popularity, many variations exist including green, white, oolong and rooibos Earl Grey tea blends.

Davidson's Jasmine Scented Tea
Jasmine Scented Tea
The strong aroma of Jasmine flowers make any tea base—black, white, green or oolong a signature scented tea. Jasmine flowers are very precious and are said to lift the spirits. When blended with tea, they boost the flavor and help to prevent bitterness. Traditionally, high quality Jasmine scented teas are made by gently packing Jasmine flowers between stacks of tea leaves in bamboo chests. These layers are continually re-packed to allow the strong essence of the flowers to infuse the tea leaves.

Davidson's Rose Pouchong Tea
Rose Pouchong Tea
A black China tea from the Guangdong Province scented with rose petals and natural rose oil, Rose Pouchong tea has a delicate flavor that makes a lovely summertime drink. Rose Pouchong scented teas are usually enjoyed with light foods such as those served for afternoon tea. Other varieties include oolong, white and green Rose Pouchong teas.
