TCU still winless in Big 12

With three players scoring in double figures but just that, TCU still hasn't gotten out of its offensive struggles yet.

That led to an 0-5 start to the Frogs' Big 12 debut season as they lost 63-50 to Iowa State at Daniel Meyer Coliseum.

Garlon Green, Charles Hill and Devonta Abron each scored 10 points. Adrick McKinney was the only other one to score more than six for TCU.

Iowa State, meanwhile, got 16 from Tyrus McGee off the bench, who was one of four Cyclones to score in double figures.

TCU still kept the game close at the start, leading for much of the first 10 1/2 minutes of the game and still staying within five points for the first 17. But McGee's three-pointer with 2:41 before halftime put the Cyclones up 32-24 and the game wasn't really in doubt after that.

The Cyclones never lad by less than double figures after the first five minutes of the second half, leading by as many as 15.

Having gone 0-2 on their current home stand, the Frogs will travel to the other Big 12 newcomer this week, facing West Virginia in Morgantown.
