Turner Classic Movies helps film fans get ready for Oscar night with a full month of Academy Award winners and nominees. The annual event begins February 1, 2014, and runs through March 3.

TCM begins with the Best Picture nominees from 1939 on Saturday, February 1. Programming for that day includes "Stagecoach" (1939), "Gone with the Wind" (1939), "The Wizard of Oz" (1939), and "Dark Victory" (1939).

Other days of the event will feature different years and categories. On February 7, viewers can see the performances of the Best Actor nominees of 1953. On February 13, the Best Actress nominees of 1942 take the spotlight. On March 3, TCM airs the 1958 Best Special Effects nominees. Every day will feature a different aspect of Oscar history, with costume designs, directors, writers, and supporting players all getting their own lineups on the schedule.
