The Univision Network – a top five broadcaster in the U.S., regardless of language, and the leading Spanish-language network in the country, is bringing “¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN” to TV viewers later this month.
The Univision TCA Winter Tour hosted a breakfas this morning (January 14) that included a preview of the innovative docu-journey which celebrates music, performance art and the extraordinary Latin culture.
In attendance were hosts of “¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN,” Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Jamie King – who, during the course of the series, travel throughout Latin America to discover singers, dancers, musicians, and entertaining performers.
"People are going to be pleasantly surprised," said Lopez during the upfront session hosted by Univision .“This is a passion project on so many levels”. “It’s really our dream to see it come together. Lopez continued.
Marc Anthony announced that Fox Networks has been added as a partnership to the show for the 2012 season.
The panel started late which left little time for questions from the critics.
The series, sponsored by Blackberry, will document a transcontinental trek that includes the entertainment, energy and emotion of some incredible personal journey's in Latin America . “¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN” premieres on Univision, Saturday, January 28, at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central).
