In a small town 36 miles northeast of Austin is a no kill animal shelter. This facility is located at 600 East 4th Street in Taylor Texas. An animal control officer and some volunteers care for the housed cats and dogs. These individuals partner with rescue groups and foster homes to adopt the furry family members.
On Saturday, February 18th at Terra Properties located at 2207 North Main Street in Taylor, Texas an outdoor (weather permitting) adoption event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Click here to view the pets eager to meet their new family members. The second annual Bark Of Life event will begin with a one mile dog walk to honor the care giving qualities of canine companions. This outdoor event will be on Saturday, March 24th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Taylor Regional Park and Sports Complex, 210 Carlos Parker Blvd., NW, Taylor, Texas.
