Country pop superstar Taylor Swift is set to premiere the video for her current single, "22" on this Wed. "Good Morning America" show. The song is her third pop single from her 5 x Platinum-selling "Red." “Good Morning America” will air an exclusive 30-second preview of the video, along with a brief intro from Taylor, on Wednesday morning’s broadcast, and the full video will premiere on www.abcnews.com and http://gma.yahoo.com/ at 8:30 a.m. ET.
The song "22" is her fourth single release; the previous songs being "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "Begin Again" and "I Knew You Were Trouble." All the previous singles are chart toppers.
In other Taylor Swift news, the R.I.A.A. just named her their top-selling Digital Singles Artist, according to statistics that were released last week. Swift ranks #1, with 39.5 single sales certified to date.
This Wed. also marks the first date of Taylor's "Red Tour 2013." She'll play sold-out shows in Omaha, NE on the 13th and 14th. The North American portion of the tour will visit 47 cities, with 66 shows (including 13 stadium stops) in 29 states and 3 provinces, in a period of 6 months.
Next month, Swift is nominated for five ACM Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for "Red," for which she is nominated as performer and producer, and Video of the Year for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." The show airs live on CBS television on April 7, at 8:00 p.m. ET/delayed PT.
