On Jan. 9 a handful of artists that will perform at the 55th annual Grammy Awards was announced and the musicians on the list includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, The Black Keys, fun. and Mumford & Sons. The award show takes place Feb. 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 2013 Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS and the show will be hosted by LL Cool J.
The American rock band The Black Keys and the American indie rock band fun. will both perform at the Grammy Awards for the first time in 2013. The two-time Grammy Award winning band The Black Keys are nominated for five awards including Album Of The Year and Best Rock Album for "El Camino".
The English folk rock band Mumford & Sons are nominated for six awards and in 2013 they will take the Grammy stage to perform a song from their nominated album, "Babel". They have previously been nominated for a total of six Grammy Awards but have not won.
Five-time Grammy winner Rihanna and six-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift will also perform at the award show in 2013. They are each nominated for three awards. Additional performers, presenters and special segments will be announced soon.
