Taylor Swift will be hitting the stage to perform her hit “Red” during the “47th Annual CMA Awards” with some big names joining her onstage for the performance. Fox News reported on Oct. 21, 2013 that Swift’s special performance will include Vince Gill, Sam Bush, Alison Krauss, Edgar Meyer and Eric Darken.
Swift heads into the award show with six nominations. Swift will be competing against Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and George Strait for the Entertainer of the Year award. Swift also received a nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for “RED.”
Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and Tim McGraw are all set to perform during the show with Alan Jackson and George Strait performing a tribute to George Jones.
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return as hosts and are part of the line up of performers for the “47th Annual CMA Awards” that will be taking place on Nov. 6, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
