Taylor Swift opened up a bit about rumored boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal while visiting the Ellen Degeneres show this week.
Taylor Swift was on Ellen to promote her new album "Speak Now," but of course Degeneres had to ask about those Jake Gyllenhaal dating rumors.
Swift, who's infamous for writing songs about people, especially boyfriends who've wronged her was asked by Ellen, "Are you optimistic about love? How do you feel about love right now?"
Taylor Swift, 20, responded, "I'm always optimistic about love." Swift has previously been linked to "Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner, Jonas Brother, Joe Jonas, and Hollywood playboy, John Mayer.
However, the country music cutie may have found herself a new man in 29 year old actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Ellen Degeneres didn't let Taylor off the hook so easy with relationship questions. Ellen told Swift it would be easy to be optimistic about love "especially if your boyfriend is Jake Gyllenhaal, because he is very handsome."
Taylor, who doesn't love talking about her relationships in the media did admit that she and Gyllenhaal were together last weekend in New York as previously reported. However, she did not confirm or deny reports that the two are now a couple.
According to People Magazine, Ellen Degeneres went on to tease Taylor Swift about her habit of witting songs about ex boyfriends. "Wouldn't he [Jake Gyllenhaal} be nervous if anything goes wrong?' Ellen joked.
