Taylor Swift made it onto Huffington Post's "Best Dressed" list on Jan. 11 for her daring new look at the People's Choice Awards, featuring a floor-length white Ralph Lauren gown with a plunging neckline.
Swift's choice to ditch her usual girly style for sexy sophistication comes on the heels of her breakup with "One Direction" singer, Harry Styles. Perhaps the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer wanted to make her former beau second guess his choice that their relationship had gone in the wrong direction by pairing her dress with a classy Grecian-type up-do, nude lip and smoky eye.
Although this look is decidedly Swift's boldest choice yet, the starlet has been taking more fashion risks on the red carpet since her album "Red" dropped in Oct. 2012. Swift wore a white-and-silver beaded gown with sheer diamond-shaped cutouts to the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards in November. Following the more mature look, Swift debuted a more coquettish style at the 2012 American Music Awards with a form-fitting Zuhair Murad mini featuring a completely open back.
