Taylor Swift sued: Singer kept paycheck from canceled concert

Taylor Swift is being sued for allegedly keeping her $2.5 million paycheck from a concert in Canada that got cancelled, TMZ reported on Feb. 19.

According to the report, Swift kept the money without performing the concert. Taylor allegedly got her money up front, but the canceled was concert due to promoting problems.

Taylor Swift is now being sued for the money she received. The ticket company was forced to refund $1.8 million in ticket sales, and thinks Taylor should return the money.

According to Taylor’s rep, Swift never signed a deal with the ticket company, and has yet to see the lawsuit, which was filed in New York.

It seems that Taylor Swift isn’t forking over the money just yet. However, if the lawsuit is legit, the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer may be forced to pay up.

What are your thoughts on Taylor Swift getting sued? Should she return the money from the canceled concert?
