According to gossip site TMZ singer Taylor Swift is being sued by a ticket company who says she made $2.5 million for a concert in Canada that she never showed up to.
The performance (Capital Hoedown in Ottawa) was set to take place in August 2012, but never happened because producers couldn't get the show organized.
The ticket company that is suing Swift claims they refunded $1.8 million in ticket sales due to the canceled concert, while the singer was still paid the $2.5 million up front for the show.
A rep for Swift claims she never made a deal with the ticket company and they have yet to see the lawsuit.
The 23-year-old singer herself, has not yet released a statement on the matter.
The lawsuit was reportedly filed in federal court in New York.
