Taylor Swift is infamous for singing about her ex-boyfriends and many fans are speculating about a moment during the Grammys last night. According to a Feb. 10 Yahoo! Music report, Taylor appeared to be looking right at Harry Styles of One Direction during part of her opening number performance.
Swift sang “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and seemed to shoot an obvious glance right at Styles during the spoken part, even adding an exaggerated British accent when repeating a conversation between her and her ex. Harry is British, which certainly adds credibility to the theory that it was a slam at him.
Taylor’s whole performance was aggressive towards the actor portraying her ex-boyfriend on stage. However, at least, Swift didn’t actually say Harry’s name. Joe Jonas got this honor when Taylor called him out after their 2009 breakup during a “Saturday Night Live” performance.
Taylor Swift and Harry Styles had a short, but intense relationship that started late in the fall of 2012 and ended at the very beginning of 2013.
